Phil Crowe

Phil Crowe

  • Road Racer in Superbike and Superstock at the TT Isle of Man, Ulster GP, NW 200
  • BSB Superstock 1000 Racer
  • Thundersport GB1 Elite Racer - Champion (2010)

Phil has been around motorcycles since the age of two. Since that early age he has lived and breathed motorcycles both off-road and track/circuit racing. As it could not be in any other way given his passion for bikes he also made a living out of it. His latest venture in the motorcycle world has been to create Crowe Performance with the aim of providing a broad level of services to any kind of rider and for most type of motorcycles. That is why Crowe Performance has been set-up with such a wide range of capabilities when it comes to servicing motorcycles or selling motorcycle parts and accessories.

Phil Crowe has had many years competing at national and international level.

In the early years he was passionate about off-road riding and became a highly skilled off-road and motoX rider. Phil continues to ride off-road at a very high level to this day.

Later on during his mid 20s he turned his attention to competing on circuit racing and in 2010 he won the the coveted Thundersport GP1 title. In that same year he also took the New Era championship for 1000cc motorcycles.

In 2011, on the recently launched BMW S1000RR, once again took the New Era championship.

Since 2011 Phil has been a BMW Motorrad racer. The knowledge and experience that Phil acquired when it comes to BMW race bikes is extremely vast. To the point of having been called "Dr Crowe" in social media by some BMW bike owners and customers.

From 2012 onwards his goal was to compete at international level on, arguably, the most challenging motor racing events of all - motorcycle road racing. Phil went on to race at the Northwest 200 , Ulster GP, Isle of Man TT and Scarborough and he continues participating on most of these events to this day.

The biggest test of them all is the Isle of Man TT where riders compete on a 37-mile long lap on closed public roads over 200 miles in distance including 2 pit stops for fuel and tyres. The races are almost 2 hours long and the top riders achieve 125mph + average speeds over each lap. Undoubtedly one of the toughest events for rider and machine.

Phil has earned many 'Bronze Replicas' over the years and in 2017 he managed a 'Silver Replica' finishing in the top 15 and achieving an outstanding average lap of 128 mph, one of only 25 people in history to achieve this. Top 15 is a remarkable achievement for a privateer racer considering how many full-time professional racers and factory teams participate in this and other road racing events.

The experience gained by Phil over the years both racing and preparing his own bikes and engines are the foundation for his recently established business - Crowe Performance. Customers will have the benefit of Phil unrivalled experience and knowledge.

For 2018 Phil will continue to compete in most of the main road racing events as well as competing in selected BSB Superstock 1000 races and in several races in his beloved Thundersport GP1 championship.
