2014: As 2013 Triumph Triple Challenge champion, Chrissy was offered a number of top rides but instead chose to focus on his A-Levels. Following his exams in the summer, he made his international debut when he contested the final three rounds of the European Superstock 600 Championship with the Racedays Honda squad, where he made an instant impression. He finished the season with a one-off ride with Derek Sanders’ Team HARIBO Starmix in the UK’s Superstock 600 series.

2013: Returning to the Triumph Triple Challenge with his eyes firmly fixed on the title, Rouse dominated the season with 10 wins and numerous top three results, finishing off the podium just twice as he took the title with two races still to go. He also enjoyed a ‘wildcard’ outing on the Team Haribo Triumph in the Pirelli National Superstock 600cc race at Snetterton where he finished an impressive third.

2012: Instantly getting to grips with the larger Triumph Daytona 675 in the Triumph Triple Challenge, he quickly became a regular feature at the front of the pack and on the podium, ending his rookie season fourth overall.

2011: He moved up to the British 125GP Championship, starting the season with SGR Racing, but later switching to race for the experienced Steve Patrickson at SP 125. By the end of the season he had emerged a consistent top 10 finisher, with a best result of sixth.

That same year he also entered the Triumph Young Guns Competition which finds up and coming new talent and rewards the most promising with a factory-supported ride in the following season’s Triumph Triple Challenge. Winning the competition, he secured a ride for 2012.

2010: In his second season in the Aprilia Superteens Championship, the 14-year-old lifted the title at Donington Park – 10 years after MotoGP star Casey Stoner had won the same championship at the same age and at the same track – riding for the JDF Racing Team.

2009: Entered the Aprilia Superteens Championship, riding an Aprilia RS125 at all of the major circuits in the UK.

2008: When his bike and all of the associated gear was stolen the day before the season was due to begin, his Dad, Martin, decided on a clean break and bought him a Metrakit 70cc road racing bike and he entered the Fab Racing Series.

2004: He moved up to his first motocross machine – a Suzuki RM65. He ran a season on it, soon picking up the pace and finishing fifth in the North East. Stepping-up to a Yamaha YZ85 he quickly became an accomplished rider and enjoyed a few years of success.
